Welcome to Wabi Exploration Inc.

The Elbow Lake Property covers a gold bearing shear/fault system with approximately 8 kilometers of trend length. The property covers a package of meta-volcanic, meta-sedimentary and intrusive rocks in the Flin Flon Snow Lake greenstone belt, which is the richest greenstone left in the world on a per square-kilometre basis.

DEPOSIT TYPES

On the Elbow Lake Property, Proterozoic volcanic and sedimentary rocks host gold bearing quartz veins associated with a major shear zone. This mineralization style can be classified as greenstone-hosted quartz-carbonate vein mineralization as described by Dube and Gosselin (2007).

Many of the gold showings in the vicinity of Elbow Lake were reviewed by Galley et al. (1987) who grouped them into four types:

(1) Gold occurrences that are associated with felsic porphyry dykes up to 10 metres wide
(2) Gold occurrences in fault-controlled stock-works and alteration zones up to 20 metres wide
(3) Stratabound gold occurrences sulphide-rich lithologies
(4) Oxide-facies iron formation hosted gold mineralization
